Midsummer Boulevard, central Milton Keynes. This will be closed from Elder Gate to Marlborough Street. The main activity will take place opposite Milton Keynes Theatre and MK Gallery.
It’s free and for everyone to enjoy. The Performance Yurt programme is free but ticketed due to capacity.
Yes. There’s something for everyone – some performances are for over 18s and this is marked on the programme.
Very – the Festival takes place in accessible, flat areas in the city centre that are public spaces. Where there are no dropped curbs, ramps will be in place. MK Gallery changing place toilet facilities will be available between 10am–5pm. There is also a Sensory Breakout Space at MK Gallery that will be a quiet zone, staffed by trained professionals, designed for people to recharge away from the hustle and bustle of Midsummer Festival.
There are thousands of parking spaces in the city centre.
Midsummer Boulevard (Elder Gate to Marlborough Street) will be closed from midnight on Saturday 21 June until 6am on Monday 23 June. Diversions will be in place and clearly marked.
A dedicated Events Organiser and security team will be in place for the duration of the Festival, alongside first-aid trained stewards, Festival staff and an ambulance team. Visit the staffed information point with any questions.
If it rains, the majority of activity will move undercover to the Midsummer Music Tent and Performance Yurt. Follow @culturemk on X and @culturemiltonkeynes on Instagram for live updates on the day. Shaded seating will be provided throughout the Festival site. Emergency sun-cream and water will be available at the Information Point.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to attend. Water bowls will be provided.
